Parvatha Varshini

Hi I'm Parvatha, an MSc Computer Science student at Manchester, currently researching software deobfuscation techniques for my dissertation. I moved into security from an ECE background about two years ago and haven't looked back: CTFs, digital forensics, and more recently reverse engineering are what I spend most of my free time on.

Some of what I've been building: a Wazuh/Elastic homelab with detections mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, Security+ certified, TryHackMe SOC Level 1, and hands-on time with SCADA and BLE/IoT systems from past internships. Longer-term I'm aiming toward malware analysis and vulnerability research, and I'm working through HackTheBox CPTS next.

I also write cybersecurity content on Instagram (@0xpvee, 28k+ followers), which I started as a way of building my skill of explaining my work.
